Overview

The construction sector in Tanzania is a key driver of economic growth, contributing to infrastructure development, job creation, and urbanization. The government has prioritized the sector through major public investments in flagship projects like the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR), the Julius Nyerere Hydropower Project, airport expansions, and urban development initiatives.
