Zanzibar to generate 200 megawatts of wind power

Unguja. Zanzibar has signed a landmark agreement to purchase 200 megawatts of wind power from Aseel Oilfield Services Tanzania, in partnership with Sany Renewable Energy.

The ambitious project aims to address Zanzibar’s growing energy needs and reduce the islands reliance on imported power.
